amiga emulation --------------- pu-239 presents *amiga emulation* there is almost no code in this nitro and therefore nothing to see. this was justdone to save some memory :-) press space and see the actual intro, will you. /signoff *falstaff of pu-239 signed off *amiga emulation* released by pu-239 in may 6th 1990 coded by albert and falstaff of pu-239 this nitro was 'coded' by falstaff and albert digitized and edited the piccy. muzak by groo and fonts by cbm :-) *press space and enjoy the demo* ---- so this is albert... sorry that this scroll is so slow, but there is so much else to see in this intro, so it might be a real blessing.. hmmh, in fact i don't really have much to say, just regret that this screen is not much of to look at.. oh, just a couple of words about this megademo coded by albert and falstaff of pu-239... our princeple is that multi-load is used only when you can't crunch your demo into the memory you have left.. and i think we're soooo "good" coders 'cause this megademo has four superb parts and an excellent intro.. so, i will save the memory even more and let those other members write something ... albert logged out.. this is falstaff now telling you a sad story about an amiga i've tried to buy for about 4 months now...the guy who is selling is so fucking lazy fucker that he just is 'too busy' to send the fuckin' amiga..i feel fucked. the guy's fucking name is ***teri ***nula and he lives in helsinki and keeps a private bbs-system... well, i'll go somewhere else feeling fucked...falstaff fucked out. don't worry, be happy, lovejoy fucked in..! 8) yeeeaahhh! great colors behind this shit or what. falstaff just felt a bit fucked and he put some really ironful music on on amiga. the demo he's playing with is an old freestyle demo. fuck, my hard disk resigned and it had been in fucked mood the whole weekend. right now we are in albert's place.. well, i think it was time to stop about 5 mins ago so bye now!! ---- this is falstaff of pu-239 writing... i think i ll begin with the credits... all coding by falstaff. grafixx by falstaff and a few unknown dude. cool muzak by zardax of origo scrolltexts by falstaff and secundus and all ideas by falstaff... at first we, albert and i, were supposed to complete this demo at bloodsuckers bloodparty #o. but it was unfortunately cancelled, so that seems a bit impossible...it s now a quarter to one am, and secundus and i are in my place, almost writing some scrolltext for this part... we thought that we could fill the memory with pure shit so that albert would have less space for the intropart...we are good friends of albert, aren't we well. signoff by falstaff... this is secundus of pu-239 writing. we, the members of the pu-239, are very angry because the four-night-long copy party which bloodsuckers were going to hold in visulahti, mikkeli in the end of april was cancelled only a week before it should have begun. they said that a tourist group paid more for the camping site but i wonder why they had no contract for the place. there has been only one --real-- copy-party in finland and even that failed... well i have told the whole story in my vic-20 demo so if you want to read it buy a vic-20 and contact me... hihihi... i think i'll never buy a new computer because there s no point of buying sixty-four coz no one has it after a pair of years and i'm too stupid lamer to buy an amiga.. hihihi. i wonder how much memo -out of memory error ---- so what's so special?? this is what i suppose is special.... this is albert of pu-239... what do you think, is this an usual scroller or what?? i don't use usual scrollers, so it can't be.. by the way, these scrolls are 84 pixels high with 24*42pixel spritefonts. you can also adjust the speed with a joystick in any port. oh, it is so hard to think of anything to write.. so, i am nowadays quite busy, so i don't have much time to write demos anymore.. oh now falstaff and lovejoy went to get pizza, i must hurry before they eat all of it.. rÖyh! the pizza wasn't that bad.. the drinks were quite soft anyway... rÖyh again! this is lovejoy eating. ...writing i mean. albert thinks that i am mean.. what a bastard! rÖyh. well, i don't .. agree with him.. falstaff is talking pure pu(ll)-shi(f)t (nice word-puzzle, ha...). kyllÄ sitÄ jo tarpeex o, albert said... falstaff wasn't 100% sure if there is scandinavian letters.. well, after little persuading he agreed with us.. and he hit me with his english-book. world is cruel ha.. i gotta go to a hospital, bye.. joo'o, we're (not) sorry that secundus isn't writing any text for this part (he is the one that is always throwing something around, for example plates, glasses, forks, knives, disks etc...) joopa, paina spakee, tai joystikiin nappii. (just imitating saviour ja kaikki alkaa alusta. ettÄ silleen. ---- hello. here's falstaff/pu-239 writing lovejoy is just plain stupid. he is trying to destroy my joystick. sorry, he isn't trying any more; he succeeded. i just don't know what went into him... now he wants to download a pizza, is he even or odd?? now he tries to destroy my phone...when there is nothing left to do with the joystick anymore... tpo&ptl-tele rules. well, i'm going to have a nerveous breakdown in a very short period of time.. hmh, i think i let someone else write some bullshit here...logout, bye this is albert here too, i hope you are not fed up with me yet.. by the way, this text is going to be pure memory-eating stuff, so it's no use reading this one, just concentrate on the other.. oh, i was just kidding, i must say i don't know if there is going to be something sensible.. hellos to all who know me.. (there are not many.. what a pity).. albert leaving the keyboard for a while.. oh no, i almost forgot the creditz for this demo.. muzak by some unknown person , colors mostly edited by albert , all code (except muzak) produced by albert , spritefonts and 'piccy' are also made by albert.. scrolltexts written by albert, lovejoy and falstaff oh, i think a member-list could be nice, so here it is: albert (vic,2*c64,a500) secundus (4.5*vic) lovejoy (c128d,a500) falstaff (c64,a500(?) ) saviour (a500) gremlin (a500) crank (none at the moment) ---- this is the greetings-scroll because this is so hard to read.. hah! so the greez in totally scrambled order : browbeat , neutron dance crackers , pure-byte , beyond force , tdd , dynastar , jay miner and joe pillow , x-men , alive (please send lovejoy's disks back!!) , mega-power team , gate , byterapers , tronic , boom and albert's special hellos to shadowcat/dns, the beasty boy/traxion and maxwell ---- pu-239 is here again. this is falstaff writing. well, let's first take the crediz... coding: mostly me (=falstaff), stretching routine and some minor things by albert. (he also made me think while i was writing the critical part...) music by maniacs of noise. grafixx: fonts by albert. piccy by lovejoy's amiga (it also took some editing from me, albert and lovejoy) other sprites by albert, secundus, lovejoy and me (and the name-text also by lovejoy's amiga) i'm so out of ideas right now... i just have a great feeling, but nothing to code and that's depressing. anyway, you've already seen the part i'm now trying to invent something. and my head is empty. this part was mainly coded in albert's place in the middle of nowhere in less than two days. and we finished the next (=last) part too. the last part we coded in saviour's place and that is million miles away from the middle of nowhere ;-) in 3 or so hours.. well i think here's enough shit for this unreadable scroll, if you want to see greetings, they're already gone in some other part before this (or lovejoy hasn't done it...) oukkei, falstaff logging off, press the long one (tahtoo sanoa, ett] paina v]lily]ntin]pp]int].) ---- the famous p-239 is here again with a new product coded by albert and falstaff...this is falstaff now writing this text. do you really believe that the screen is totally blanked and all you see is made with background-colors, just change the value of $d020. don't believe me!? load your mc-monitor and check the scrollroutine out...do you like those octopussy-equalizators? they are very common on the amigademos, but the p-239 was the first to do it on the c=64, too we re had a sure had a lot of fun coding this demopart. the code is so sphagetticode that even i can't even think about changing it at all. the code is full of selfchanging routines, and the best of it is that there is absolutely no zeropage-bytes are used...well, i'll stop for now and let the others a chance of writing...so long. all right this is albert writing this time.. by the way,you can change the speed of this scroll with joy in port 1 or 2 or 3 or..oh i was just kidding, use and <2> or joys.. oh it was fun coding this with falstaff, but the best thing is that the whole idea behind this demo started from a practical joke made by lovejoy. we were at falstaff's place and were watchin our newest amiga-demo which had this 'new' kind of scroller made with coppercolors.. lovejoy then joked about how we couldn't do the same with c64, but what happened?? we made it, and this scroller is quite fast and nice-looking too!! then about those equalizers.. they are made in the same way, with background-colors, but there is nothing special about it .. oh no, secundus hasn't finished his vic-demo yet, but i think i can convince him to write something to this scroll............. oh yeah, this is secundus of p-239 writing... i really have been coding my new vic-20 demo. (oh shit, it's extremely difficult to invent anything sensible to write...) well, the vic demo of mine is going to have a kind of sinus scroll, guru equalizers (in fact, the things called 'equalizers' are no equalizers at all, they are just loudness indicators... i have always wondered why they are called 'equalizers'...) i try to complete the demo before my 18th birthday that is the 7th march 1990. shit... i'll try to make lovejoy write some more scroll text... public enemy number one, public enemy number one!!! yeah, this might be lovejoy of the world famous p-239!!! yeah again, i've a great feeling 'cause i just listened to some amiga-music (very heavy music!). i just finished my greatest song i've ever made, smoke on the water - as you probably know the original performer of this song was (or i must say: is) deep purple. i'm not such fan that i'd buy even one of their records but smoke on the water is just great... well, even secundus (!) liked my version, and crank too! can ya believe it!? ah, another visitor, stay awhile, stay forever, ahhahahahahahahahahah, falstaff is just kidding around with his 64. he plays that stupid digized sample.. now he said that the voice sounds just like albert.. i agree! albert just wondered why my hard disk is shared in three partitions.. hmm... as you have probably noticed, you can change color of the text by pressing joystick-button.. oh, i almost forgot, we (albert, secundus, me (lovejoy) and falstaff) are in the albert's place middle of nowhere.. hm, falstaff and albert coded this demo a few minutes ago and i was fooling around with my amiga (means: i was cutting crap for c=lehti, finnish product!) yep! pasi andrejeff of c=lehti said with very angry face that the story must be finished at 1.3.1990 - well, in fact the story is already finished! (it's 1.3.1990 now) but: the story should be in helsinki (about 200 km from tampere) today.. hmm.. what the fuck should i do with it.. i worked out the problem!! i just leave this scroll alone and hope somebody adds something here.. and forget about the whole fucking story.. bye! so. this is secundus again... hmm, last weekend we made our first really successful trip. the previous trip was quite crazy... we would have visited saviour but he was unable to be visited. again, it was quite hard to try to sleep first in the car and then also on a high birdswatching platform... silly... argh... before that, we had already had one crazy trip: we attended a copy party in lahti 7.4.1989. yes, it was only 7.4. because almost all the hackers were drunk and were obliged to leave the place... mmmhh let it be... i think i'll go and play pitstop ii or racing destruction set with albert and falstaff. (hmm, i suppose falstaff won't play pitstop ii...) this was secundus the vicman of pu-239. bye..
